"There was a clear market need for a lightweight sofa bed, as most models were heavy and mechanical. In addition, they only converted into double beds, which was problematic as guests were not always couples. From this starting point, I began to design a sofa bed with the necessary lightness and flexibility: it could be used as two separate beds or combined with a double bed."
