The Palapala divider is designed to bring a new look and adaptable functionality to a space. Thanks to its light and airy design, it divides a space without completely closing it off. The modular birch plywood construction allows for customisation, while the natural wood finish adds warmth and a natural feel to the interior.

One package includes 10 spheres - 5 with a hole and 5 solid spheres. You can combine these elements as you like. For example approximately you need 4 packages to create a 230 cm high and 90 cm wide divider. You can choose the width and height based on your needs, and it is easy to widen it or make it smaller or even divide it into smaller sets.

The divider works perfectly in a living room, study or bedroom, where it creates visual lightness while adding structure to the space. It is also suitable for public spaces such as offices and lounges where a flexible and aesthetically pleasing division of space is required.

Where the idea for Palapala divider came from?

"The kitchen, dining area and living room are a single open space in around 90% of new homes. The aim is to create a sense of space and spaciousness. Sometimes a light and transparent partition is needed to structure the space and provide some privacy, while still allowing the room to breathe. This was the starting point for the design of the divider."

Even then there was a need for room dividers, so you made them yourself out of rolls of yarn and string and who knows what else. It was this culture that inspired Palapala."

The divider is made by our contract manufacturer. The manufacturer has been producing plywood products in Ostrobothnia since the 1950s. All production is handmade.
