Where the idea for Linkki 45 nightstand came from?

"We want to offer our customers complete interior solutions and that's why we needed a storage furniture range for our collection. The new storage furniture, with our other furniture, would nicely complement the interior. Tapio had to think about what that would be."

Designing the Linkki 45 nightstand

"I had a bit of the 50s spirit of a stylish, high quality TV stand and sideboard in mind when I was sketching the furniture. I wanted to keep the range quite simple, not screaming its existence in the interior but rather complementing it. In the end, a few pieces were chosen for the collection that, in addition to providing storage, act as interior design elements which function is to balance the space."

"Storage furniture creates clear oak surfaces in the interior and calms it down. The collection includes a TV stand and a smaller and larger drawer. The TV stand works with our sofas in the living room, guest room or study. The smaller drawer can be used next to the sofa beds, even as a nightstand, while the larger drawer is more of a universal piece of furniture in any room."

Manufacturing the Linkki 45 nightstand

We have the nightstand made by our contract manufacturer. The method is a combination of serial production and craftsmanship. Machines are needed to make the wooden parts, but the finishing is a collaboration between the human eye and hand. The wood material is carefully chosen to suit this nightstand.

hei, Asiakkaalleni tilaamani laatikosto oli kuten pitkin mutta plafondi tuli riippuvalaisimena vaikka tilaus ja tilausvahvistus oli oikein. Uuden noudosta, asiakkaalle toimituksesta ja vahan palautuksesta olisin arvostanut edes tuota nyt aika helposti tarjoamaanne -10% alennusta. Kysymykseeni siitä ei koskaan vastattu. 2 tuotteen saapuminen 2 eri paikasta ja eri aikaan oli myös yllätys joka olisi ollut kiva tietää. Olisin käyttänyt hyväkseni esim stokkan tarjoamat alet ja yhden noutoajan ja -paikan. Tuotteissa ei vikaa, enemmän logistiikassa ja "reklamaatioiden" käsitelyssä.
