Where the idea for Linkki 180 TV stand came from?

"We want to offer our customers complete interior solutions and that's why we needed a storage furniture range for our collection. The new storage furniture, with our other furniture, would nicely complement the interior. Tapio had to think about what that would be."

"I had a bit of the 50s spirit of a stylish, high quality TV stand and sideboard in mind when I was sketching the furniture. I wanted to keep the range quite simple, not screaming its existence in the interior but rather complementing it. In the end, a few pieces were chosen for the collection that, in addition to providing storage, act as interior design elements whose function is to balance the space."

The TV stand works with our sofas in the living room, guest room or study. The smaller drawer can be used next to the sofa beds, even as a bedside table, while the larger drawer is more of a universal piece of furniture in any room."

Manufacturing the Linkki 180 TV stand

We have the TV stand made by our contract manufacturer. The method is a combination of serial production and craftsmanship. Machines are needed to make the wooden parts, but the finishing is a collaboration between the human eye and hand. The wood material is carefully chosen to suit this TV stand.
