Veneer bending, soap-waxed oak.

UPHOLSTERY

Seat and frame with removable covers. Six colour options. Cushions with removable covers and zipper. Mattress toppers (included) are inside the arm rest cushions.

FABRIC

Diamonds, 46% PAN, 44% PES, 10% CO, abrasion/rub factor 40,000 Martindale. Water wash at 30 degrees, light spinning and from the wrong side of the ironing cloth or through an ironing cloth. The fabric is an antibacterial Easy Care fabric that has been tested according to the Oeko-Tex 100 standard and does not contain harmful chemicals. Suitable for families with children and pets.

FRAME

Birch plywood frame. Paddings from foam and polyester fibre. Seat with zig zag springs.

LEGS

Wooden leg, soap waxed oak.

FUNCTION

Two separate stacking seating frames. Bed size 2 x 80 x 200 cm. Can be used as one double bed or two single beds.

Delivery

We currently deliver orders to mainland Finland, Sweden and Germany from our online shop. If you would like more information about delivery areas, please contact us by email info@tapioanttila.com

In Finland, delivery options for small products include delivery to the nearest pick-up point (Post, Postnord or Matkahuolto points) or home delivery. Larger furniture is always delivered home. Depending on the postcode area, it is possible to choose additional services for the home delivery of larger furniture. In Sweden and Germany, products are always delivered to front door.

Stock items you order are generally delivered in Finland within about 5-12 days. Delivery time to Sweden and Germany is generally around 2-4 weeks. Some products are delivered directly from the manufacturer. If the product is not directly in stock, the delivery time varies from product to product. If you order more than one product from different collections at the same time, they may arrive at different times depending on the product manufacturer and delivery time.

Always check the condition of the packaging and the product when you receive your order! In the case of transport damage, please contact us immediately by e-mail info@tapioanttila.com. Also take pictures of the damage and attach them to your email. If you receive your order directly to your home, ask your shipping provider to record any visible damage.

Returns

You can return the product you ordered within 14 days. The returned product must be intact, unused and in its original packaging. A used product may prevent a refund or lower the value of your refund. When returning the product, always fill out the return form first. Shipping costs for the return of a faultless product are the responsibility of the customer. We will refund a faultless product within 14 days of receiving the product.

If there is a fault in the product, please contact us immediately by e-mail info@tapioanttila.com. Attach a picture (or more if necessary) to the email showing the error and another picture showing the entire product. We always try to correct the error first. If the error cannot be corrected, we will replace the product with a new one.

The ON sofa bed was chosen as Furniture of the Year 2007 and in the Editor's Dozen at Habitare in the very first presentation. It attracted attention with its exceptional design and structure. The sofa beds had always been used to mechanisms, in which case they are always double beds. The ON sofa bed differed from this, as it has no mechanisms and in addition to a double bed, it can also easily be used as two separate beds. In addition, mattress covers are hidden in the armrest cushions. The ON sofa bed has been a popular product in Finnish homes, leisure apartments and sauna rooms since 2007. Small updates have been made to it along the way. The last improvement was made in 2022, when sitting and sleeping comfort were increased. After this change, it has been named the ON2 sofa bed.

The Furniture of the Year award has been an award given by Avotakka, where readers vote for their favorite every year. The award differs from other awards in the design industry, because ordinary consumers choose the furniture to be awarded. Avotakka pre-selects the candidates from which the vote will take place.

General care instructions:

Vacuum the cushions regularly using a textile nozzle and air the cushions outside from time to time. Dust and fibers from other textiles can over time cause pilling on the surface of the fabric. Lint can be removed with a lint remover if desired.

Stain removal:

Remove stains on the surface of the fabric as soon as possible so that the stain does not have time to absorb. You can first try to absorb damp stains with a clean, undyed cloth and, if necessary, use a detergent intended for upholstery. Always test the detergent first on a small hidden area to make sure that the detergent in question is suitable for the fabric in question. If local cleaning does not help, the covers can be removed and washed. When washing, you must follow the fabric-specific washing instructions and we recommend using the services of professional laundries. The wooden parts can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth if necessary.

Color changes:

The wood parts darken over time due to the influence of light. In addition, areas that are touched a lot, often darken more due to dirt and grease coming off the hands. If these dark spots start to bother you, you can fade them out by renewing the surface treatment of the product. In this matter, you should turn to professionals, and you can also ask us for advice if necessary.

Other things to consider:

Pay attention to the correct lifting grip when opening and closing the sofa bed. It is good to tighten the screw connections of the legs and armrests from time to time. Since the upholstery of the sofa beds is loose, they can move and wrinkle when in use. In this case, the fabric can be smoothed and put back in place better.

Can the delivery time be changed or requested?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is not possible. The products leave our warehouse on a first-come, first-served basis. You can ask our customer service for a more accurate estimate of the delivery time. If you have chosen a delivery to your home for your product, the transport company will contact you directly to agree on a more precise delivery time.

Can I choose any fabric for upholstered products?

Answer: The fabrics that can be chosen for our products are shown in our online store on each product's own page. If you're in the mood to get something flashy or otherwise just different, we suggest turning to a local seamstress. Our products are loosely upholstered, so making and changing new covers is easy.

Is it possible to get higher legs for the sofa?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is not possible to order special-sized parts from us. However, the legs of the sofas are made of solid wood and use standard-sized mounting brackets, so you can ask the nearest carpenter for higher or lower legs. You can ask us for product-specific advice on sizing and leg material/color selection if necessary.

Where is my product made and where do the materials used in it come from?

Answer: It depends on your product. We have several different manufacturers in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with whom we have cooperated for a long time. The reason for collaborating with several different manufacturers is that different manufacturers have different know-how and, in terms of equipment, different capabilities to manufacture different products. We are in constant contact with them and have visited the factories, so we know the conditions under which our products are manufactured. In general, our manufacturers handle the procurement of materials, so there are many product-specific differences in them as well. Most of the materials used in our products come from Europe. This is one thing we are working on, so that we could gather more detailed information about where each raw material comes from. Unfortunately, this is a difficult and time-consuming process. Ostimme vieraita ajatellen On2Wood Hopper 67 vuodesohvan. Tuote on hyvin tehty, kaunis ja käytännöllinen ja lisäksi kotimainen. Istumamukavuus todella hyvä, vuoteena käytön lisäksi. 3 vuotta sitten tyttäremme sai muuttolahjaksi vastaavanlaisen sohvan, joten tiesimme tuotteen mitä mainioimmaksi ! Suosittelen :)

Kivan näköinen sohva

Hyvä istua, tukeva nukkua. Ilo silmälle. Ainut miinus halvan oloiset ja heppoisesti ommellut vetoketjut sivutyynyissä missä vuodesuojat. Mikäli tätä enemmän käyttää niin vetoketju auttamatta ratkeaa kun vuodesuojaa yrittää laittaa takaisin tyynyyn. Samaten harsokankaiset sisuspussit. Tässä hintaluokassa olisin odottanut parempaa laatua.
