Description
Fabric samples help you confirm the upholstery colour and quality before ordering your sofa bed. These small swatches make choosing easier: you can see and feel how the fabric looks in your lighting and with the rest of your interior — in your own home.
For the Kaiku sofa bed, upholstery is available in the following Hopper shades::
- Hopper 51 – beige
- Hopper 65 – light grey
- Hopper 67 – dark grey

Ordering is easy and risk-free. The samples arrive at your home by letter with no delivery costs, so you can take your time comparing the options and feeling the fabrics before making your final decision.

Care and maintenance
Normal, everyday care:
Vacuum upholstered products regularly using a textile/upholstery nozzle, and air the cushions outdoors sometimes.
Stain removal:
Remove a stain from the surface of the fabric as soon as possible, before it has time to soak in or dry. A wet stain can be blotted by pressing with a clean, absorbent cloth. If needed, dampen the cloth slightly and blot again. If necessary, you can use a cleaning agent intended for upholstery. Always test the cleaner first on a small, hidden area.
Washing instructions:
HOPPER:
Dry clean or gentle water wash at 30°C in plenty of water, turned inside out. Do not tumble dry and do not iron.
After washing, you can put the covers back on the sofa while they are still slightly damp (especially the fixed/frame upholstery), as this helps them settle back into place more easily. Let the upholstery dry completely before sitting on it.
If stubborn stains occur, the covers should be taken to a professional cleaner.

Delivery time
- In Finland, the delivery time for in-stock items is typically 5-12 business days.
- For other countries, delivery usually takes 2-4 weeks.
- The shipping company will always contact you in advance to schedule a more precise delivery time.
- The exact delivery time depends on your delivery address and additional services selected.
- Some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer, which may affect delivery time.
- If your order includes multiple items, they may arrive in separate shipments.

Delivery options
In Finland
- Small items are delivered to the nearest pick-up point (Posti) or to 'curbside', according to your choice.
- Larger furniture items are always delivered free of charge to 'curbside'.
- Depending on your location, you may also select paid additional services at checkout, such as indoor delivery, unpacking or recycling of an old similar item.
Other countries
- All items are always delivered to 'curbside'.
Receiving the delivery
Always check the condition of the package and the product upon delivery. If you notice any transport damage, notify our customer service by email without delay and include clear photos of the damage. If your item was delivered to your home, please ask the delivery provider to note any visible damage on the shipment documents at the time of delivery.
Cancellation, Return & Exchange conditions
Order cancellation is possible within 45 days. You can request a cancellation by logging into your Customer Account or by contacting customer service via email or by calling +358 40 176 4240. If your order is already being processed or if you wish to cancel after receiving the products, the cancellation will be processed as a return in accordance with our return policy. Please see the return policy below.
We offer a 45-day exchange and return policy for products ordered from our online store. Please keep the product's original packaging during the trial period, as the exchanged and/or returned product must be undamaged and packed in its original packaging. If the product has visible signs of wear (e.g., stains, scratches, dents or tears), it cannot be accepted for return. If the delivery arrived on a pallet, please keep the pallet for a potential return.
If you wish to exchange or return a product, you can do so by logging into your Customer Account or by contacting customer service via email or by calling +358 40 176 4240. You can track the status of your cancellation or return through your Customer Account.
In the event of a return, the consumer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Upon request, customer service can arrange the return, in which case the resulting return costs will be deducted from the refund of the returned product. The customer can also arrange and pay for the return themselves, in which case the refund will cover the full price of the returned product.
We are not liable for damages caused by careless opening of the product packaging or improper use.
If a free promotional gift was included with the order, it must be returned. If the promotional gift is not returned, its value will be deducted from the refund of the returned product.
The refund amount for the returned product, minus any return shipping costs (if the customer paid for the return costs themselves, the full product price will be refunded), will be returned to your previously chosen payment method. The refund will be processed once we have received and inspected the returned product. If any issues are found with the condition of the returned product, our customer service will contact you. Note: Delivery costs or additional services charged on the original order are not refunded in the event of a return. If the order is cancelled before delivery, the ordered additional services will be refunded in full.

Warranty
Our sofa beds have a 10-year frame warranty. Changes caused by the natural movement of wooden-framed sofa beds are handled on a case-by-case basis. The warranty does not cover the sagging of padding or possible springs due to normal use, or the wear and tear of the upholstery fabric occurring during normal use. The warranty applies to defects that we are notified of during the warranty period.
Claims
If a defect related to materials or structures appears in the product, please contact us immediately by filling out the claim form found below. Include a clear photo of the product and the detected defect. If you wish to submit multiple photos, you can also make the claim via email. Once we have received the information and photos, we will assess the validity and processing time of the claim and provide the necessary instructions.
That said, you can always contact our customer service once you notice an issue, and we'll see what we can do together to resolve it.
We reserve the right to correct any system or pricing errors before the product is delivered.

What is the difference between the fabrics?
The most significant differences between the Diamonds andHopper fabrics relate to care, texture and durability. Thestructured-surface Diamonds fabric is easy to maintain and hard-wearing - and it can be washed with water (a very gentle 30°C wash). As an easy-care fabric, dirt is less likely to cling to the fibres, and the fabric has not required any after-treatment chemicals. It is Öko-Tex® and REACH certified.
Hopper Hopper has a smoother surface with a subtle sheen and a bicolour flatweave look, and it feels slightly thinner. Made of 100% polyester, it is extremely hard-wearing (over 100,000 Martindale) and designed to be easy in everyday life: it features a dirt- and moisture-repellent finish. For a 30°C water wash, we recommend turning the covers inside out. Please note that the dirt- and moisture-repellent treatment may gradually wear off with repeated washing. Hopper is also Öko-Tex (product class II) and REACH certified.

Can I order the sofa in a different fabric?
Unfortunately, we are unable to manufacture sofas using the customer's own fabric. However, if you would like to use upholstery other than the options we offer, you can contact your local upholsterer and ask them for a quote. In this case, we recommend ordering the sofa from us with the most affordable fabric and having the upholstery made by the upholsterer. Our customer service will be happy to provide you with information on the amount of fabric required for the quote.
Which fabric do you recommend?
For active everyday use, we often recommend Hopper: it’s a durable 100% polyester fabric, easy to clean, and highly abrasion-resistant (over 100,000 Martindale). It can also be washed at 30°C. If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a more structured fabric with a softly textured look - and you value easy-care, water-washable practicality - Diamonds is a reliable choice.

Vuodesohva on kodissamme ilahduttamassa arkea. Ihana sohva muotoilultaan ja toiminnallisuudeltaan, jota myös vieraat ovat kehuneet. Yöunia siinä ei ole vielä nukuttu, mutta päiväunet ovat olleet mitä parhaimmat.
Kiitos myös TAC:n asiakaspalvelulle. Tuotannossa tapahtuneen virheen johdosta jouduimme reklamoimaan. Tilanne hoidettiin ammattitaidolla ja tyylikkäästi.

Kylläpä oli mukava istahtaa tähän tuoliin. Lyhytjalkaisen unelma, jalat tukevasti lattialla ja käsille vapaata heilutella puikkoja. Pehmusteitakaan en ihan heti kaipaa. Toimii hyvin vuodesohvan ja askien kanssa yhdessä kokonaisuutena. Ajaton malli ja sopii hyvin entisten huonekalujen kanssa yhteen.
Todella kaunis, ajaton design mutta ennen kaikkea aivan älyttömän mukava nukkua. Vuodesohva on ollut meillä jo pari vuotta vierassänkynä ja joka ikinen meillä majoittunut on kehunut jälkikäteen sen mukavuutta. Voimme suositella sohvaa kyllä aivan kaikille.
Lisäpisteitä täytyy antaa myös Tapio Anttilan asiakaspalvelulle. Sohvasta oli yksi pohjasäle alkanut haljeta oksan kohdalta, mutta tilanne hoidettiin ensiluokkaisesti ja nyt sohva kestää ja säilyy meillä varmasti pitkälle tulevaisuuteen.
Näin kyseisen sohvan Habitare-messuilla ja se on siitä lähtien pyörinyt mielessäni. Eilen unelmieni sohva saapui kotiini pitkän harkinnan jälkeen, se on niin kaunis! Lisäksi sopivan napakka! Hiekka/beige-sävy on luonnossa kuvia raikkaampi ja vaaleampi.
Kivat hyllyt yöpöydiksi. Sopivat hyvin kapeaan makkariin, jossa kaappien avautuminen vaatii tilaa ja normaalit yöpöydät ei mahdu. Kätevä kolo hyllyn sivulla takana johdolle.
